Ms. Guo is a seasoned landscape architect with work experience in both China and the United States, boasting over 20 years of extensive design expertise. She has held positions at internationally renowned design firms such as ATKINS, SSA in the United States, and HASSELL in Australia—experiences that have provided her with a solid professional foundation. In 2017, Ms. Guo founded her own design firm, Wscape, dedicated to delivering innovative, sustainable, and socially impactful landscape design solutions.

Throughout her distinguished career, Ms. Guo has participated in numerous projects with significant social and economic benefits and has made outstanding contributions to urban renewal. Through innovative design, she has seamlessly integrated commercial development with social inclusiveness, breathing new life into declining urban public spaces and communities. Her work has significantly enhanced local economic vitality and improved residents’ quality of life. Emphasizing both the uniqueness of visual art and the organic integration of design with social and economic benefits, her projects have provided a tangible impetus for community revitalization and regional development.

Ms. Guo’s award-winning portfolio includes landmark projects such as the Longfu Cultural Center, Beijing Wukesong Bloomberg Live, the renovation of the Beijing Lido Street district, the Beijing National Financial Information Tower, the Yangzhou Slender West Lake Hot Spring Resort, the Hangzhou Longwu Clubmed Urban Oasis Resort, Boston College, and Mary Soohoo Park, Boston. These projects have not only infused modern commercial vitality into cities but also enhanced the social value and economic potential of communities, setting benchmarks in urban renewal and public space transformation.

从北京的隆福文化中心到扬州的瘦西湖温泉度假村，郭娃女士主导的多个项目获得了IDA、MUSE、TITAN等国际奖项，成为中国城市更新与文化场所营造的新范式。在美国，她参与设计了波士顿学院中区景观更新与 Mary Soo Hoo Park 等城市空间项目，展现出其在多元城市语境中把控公共性与文化性的卓越能力。
